Our Pratice > Corporate and Debt Restructuring

The Legists advise clients in the planning and implementation of corporate restructuring among groups of companies with the aim to improve overall group tax planning; financing; operational efficiency; public listing or delisting; as well as in preparation for mergers and/or acquisitions.

The Legists also represent debtors and creditors to solve debt repayment problems by balancing the interests of both parties, thereby maintaining the viability of debtor’s business and to recover an appropriate amount of the creditors’ outstanding debt. The debt restructuring occurs both in court under the Bankruptcy Act and outside of the court by undertakings of both parties. The Legists have represented creditors and debtors in negotiation, drafting agreements and rehabilitation plans as well as participating in Central Bankruptcy Court proceedings.
